Here we would like to thank John Chapman SEQ Genetics (embryo transfer) and Rob Yelland (IVF) for their good work, excellent results and the care that they took when with our old girls, you are truly “cattle men”.

No one works alone so we would like to thank:

George Foster and Peter Worth for their help and knowledge over many years for the advice and hard work: fencing, getting the farms set up and working the cattle, without you two guys we would be working for 10 more years to get where we are now. Also Peter’s welding ability is amazing.

Boyd Broughton and Neville Edwards of Wingham Farm Machinery for building and fixing all my tractor, loader and bulldozer implements and supplying steel nuts and bolts etc., for their advice, sound engineering knowledge, extra heavy duty gear and words of encouragement.

Geoff Dixon (Dicko) and Todd from Manning River Steel for all the advice, bulk steel and fencing needs at great prices.

Eddy Sheather of Sheather’s Machinary, Wingham who has helped me with advice and his wealth of information and repairs in keeping our tractors and bulldozer going and our pretty new Landini tractor.

John Corrigen from Comboyne who has trucked my cattle all over NSW and Queensland and they always arrived in good condition, this is very important as this is what the customer sees and what keeps them coming back.

Also in our corner from the beginning were Richard Eldershaw ex Rangers Valley and Jim Cudmore ex Kerwie Feedlot who believed in us and helped us and gave us encouragement. Anthony Winter from Macquarie Downs and Peter Wilkinson from DBA for buying our steers when no one wanted any cattle at all.

Greg Gibbens from AACo, who bought steers and sold us some very special semen.

Scott Harry (Harry Cattle Company) and his wonderful family from Cundletown who kept us supplied with beautiful silage for many years. His knowledge of silage making is second to none.

Graham, Karen, Robbie and Adam Greenbanks from Ballarat that sent us hay during the drought when nothing was available, which saved our skins.

Steve Ryan from Coastal Fodder that also supplies us with top quality silage.

All our many loyal customers that stuck with us through good times and bad.

Without these people we would not be as successful and stress levels would be a great deal higher. So to all of you, thank you very, very much.

Tim would like to thank his immensely patient wife May, as she endured countless late nights of studying, late meals, and late night phone calls: overseas and local, people wanting to know about Wagyu and incessantly talking about Wagyu cattle.

All that wore her down, as she is the one that looks after the calves and trains the bulls now and has a very good eye for animal traits.

In the beginning Tim told her that if we didn’t make any money at least we would eat good meat.
